Guest guest
Yes, and we considered it, but Tenex IS a beta blocker, I believe, and it still has its own side effects that concern me as well: excess fatigue, slow heart rate, too low blood pressure, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation... My son already has chronic constipation that is being controlled with diet and metabolic supports. I'd be afraid adding this drug could worsen that. I want to knew exactly what it is: what is going on biochemically that is causing the attention deficit and the anxiety? This has exploded within the last year along with a return of sound sensitivity. He is back on Nystantin, and this has helped somewhat. I want to look at his diet again, and see what we're missing there, but I confess, if Tenex could help him focus and relieve his anxiety..... We found out at night that his hearing is so acute, so now he wears ear plugs and these have helped him immensely at night, but I would still like to know what is going on at the biochemical level when a child starts having these kinds of problems.
