Guest guest
Hi Kari, So glad you went to the second place. When our son, now 15 (not mds) had to get glasses at age 5 we went to two places for opinions. The prescription was the same at both. But the glasses they kept leading us to were the " sturdy " ones. Made him look like a geek. We wanted him to feel good about himself and how he looked so we got the ones we liked. They lasted a long time, probly longer than the clunky pair. It was hard getting used to seeing him in glasses, but now it seems weird if he has them off. Of course at his age now he is begging for surgery to have them fixed. We won't do it until he is an adult. Hope all goes well and she keeps them on for you. Luanne mom to Mahrya 3 on Mon.
