Guest guest
I hadn't had a training session with Noel since I believe last summer. By the time 2:00 rolled around I was actually feeling happy and giddy, more than I feel on a blind date! I walked in we smiled and said hi and I gave him my money, and was informed I had 4 free sessions for having referred a friend of mine to him. Su-weet! The story of the day was that he and (a local wrestler known as Exile who wears these awesome emerald green boots and cape when fighting in the ring) went to the post office, but Noel had to get some boxes out of the car so he had wait in line. By the time Noel got there there was a woman behind so Noel went up to . She said, " Excuse me, but you just cut in front of me and I was here first. Are you with him? " Noel goes, in his gay voice, " Yeth I'm with my boyfriend and we get thith EVERYWHERE we go!!! DON'T HATE THE GAYS! DON'T HATE THE GAYS!! " She of course had no idea what to say to this and bumbled something. Too funny!Machine #1 was as unpleasant as I remembered it, but he supposedly went easier on me today because it was my first day back. Machine #2 is almost as bad but you're standing - Noel says it is more brutal than machine #1 but man I have to say those initial sets are shockers. At machine #3, the leg press, I was doing three sets of 10 reps with 225 lbs. After that was a hamstring machine, the shoulder machine, then doing lateral raises with dumbells (only 10 pounders, they may have been a little fatigued from the machine before) When we were through he said, " So, do you think you'll be sore tomorrow? Cause I went a little easy on you today " . I replied, " I won't be sore in the shoulders but I am already feeling the legwork " . Indeed, as I was walking down the stairs tonite at home, I could already feel the DOMS setting in. YEEES! I'm sure by 5:00pm tomorrow I'll be hobbling.
