Re: Detoxing through the skin

WOW - that looks JUST like my son's " eczema " rash. Except that

eventually all his dots and blotches joined up and looked like vast

burn patches that were slightly raised above the undamaged skin surface.

I haven't had a sec to read through all the replies, but epsom salts

baths were part of what I needed to do. It the skin is really raw the

salty bath water will sting though, which is why I never considered it

in the beginning of biomed treatment when everyone was talking about

the wonders of epsom salts!

The PST enzyme (metabolic, not digestive) was designed to process

natural food sources of phenol and sulfur. But in our modern times it

also has to take care of external source toxins like chlorine,

perfumes etc and internal source toxins from metabolic processes.

When the deficient PST enzymes can't keep up, you get the traffic jam

that overflows everywhere. Like a backed up toll booth.

So I boosted the enzymes processing speed by adding in all the

co-factors it needs: The essential elements Magnesium, Molybdenum,

Manganese, Selenium (careful with this one - do a UEE to track levels).

That basically gives more fuel to the tired toll both workers (the

enzymes) and makes them work faster. But then you also have to stop

the inflow of more traffic into the back up. You don't want to slow

down detox too much (because that is the most important thing here!)

but you can cut out all phenol and sulfur food/supplement traffic,

just till the tollbooth workers can catch up.

Other things that help:

No-Fenol (whether you are eating phenol foods or not).

Zero chlorine exposure (change those filters in your shower heads for

fresh ones immediately!)

No exposure to perfumes or other chemically stinky stuff.

READ THIS PAPER: in the Yahoo group Enzymes and Autism. In

their files section in the Related Topics and Supplements folder. The

text file is called Sulfur and PST.

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EnzymesandAutism/files/Related%20Topics%20a\

nd%20Supplements/

It's all about how the enzyme works and there are details on all the

toxins it tries to process out. I can't remember them all off the top

of my head - it's been 15+ months since I figured out my son had a

life long DETOX rash and fixed it in just over a week....... ;-)

If you like I can send you a before and after doc with the pictures to

compare.

get off the prednisone for lymes.  when i was at my first LLMD i was told that she could tell my child was a mess by my pregnancy labs and the fact that they put me on prednisone which is contraindicated for lymes messed things up more...worst thing for us.  my GI (and he was doing the TH tests etc) was looking at prescribing a steroid on our last scope in 12/07...the scope that superseeded us going to Krigsman or Cincinatt's Eosinophilic Center....and the doc said "i was going to prescribe....but not going to, keep using those herbals, it's working"....

so i asked dr. s in fl what he thought of the scope pictures and what the GI issues were most likely from...i thought for sure babesia, and he thinks its most likely due to lymes and bartonella, but we're hitting babesia first and that can be cured.

Hi ,

I have a couple of questions. Is Dr. S. the doc in Naples?

Do you live in Florida? Just curious.

The main question is what herbals and dosages are you using?

Any protocol info would be great. I truly appreciate your help.
