my son never had the strep. he is 12 years old. Go figure.

My son has had 10 rounds of strep since Aug and we just had his tonsils removed. Is this common with kids that have AS? He is newly diagnosed this year.Deb

Marilynn,I totally understand. It is a great idea for those who can do it, and I commend you. How do you get over the anger of being robbed by having to pay school taxes too?I wanted my son to get the benefit of living in a small town, having friends and getting the social, but I was idealistic. I thought districts were bound by the law. Now I'm finding out that it was just a carrot to shut us all up. I don't see it working for these kids at all.Laws are only good for the people willing to follow them. I was not yelling at you and I certainly did not mean to make you feel that way. My son is chronically ill too. We are in the middle of yet another round of strep, which I also caught, so I am run down and worn out. My apologies if I offended you.
