Olif,

Are you getting a lot of emails from me tonight or what?! ;-)

Hey how about just plain ("old fashioned"?) supreme coconut oil? That is a terrific all purpose skin lotion and messager! I leave a small jar of it in the bathroom during a shower or while the kids are bathing, the heat in thebathroom gets the oil soft. Then I put it as a lotion on the kids, all over. Their skin are great! I noticed the other day when I had some scratches on my arms from raspberry picking, some coconut oil helped take away some of the sting. Must be the lauric acid in it. Interesting!

I don't know of any book or links off hand. Maybe if you started looking up info about soaps, what they put in them, that would help you to find the right book/site? Let me know if you find it, I just might be interested! Just love to learn, I guess! ;-)

Hi. I am wondering if anyone can point me to a book/link that explains what a lot of traditional cultures use for skin products, especially lotions/oils. I guess I am looking for the equivalent of Nourishing Traditions but for the skin instead of food. :-)

I don't know whom to ask, and I figured that many of the health conscious people on this list will have the knowledge!

Thanks,

Olif

Does anybody have any ideas for a mosquito repellant for a two year old. We live in a swamp and it is awful. Also looking for a good sunscreen. Any ideas?
