Guest guest
Sacc B helps with bacteria as well as yeast, perhaps try again and use some charcaol between doses? I thin its wonderful stuff Mandi x Hi all,I wonder if anyone with experience of this product could throw light on our situation?Started Ds on tiny sprinkle of S.Boulardii 3 1/2 weeks ago and very slowly increased to almost one capsule. Heard it could cause bad die-off so wanted to be careful. After about 4 days he seemed to get poorly, woke a couple of times at night (unusual for him)temperature, few little spots, terrible smelly loose nappies and frequent. He also seemed tearful. This calmed down after about a week but the nappies were still very loose and awful but not so frequent. After 2 weeks of horrid nappies I stopped the Boulardii thinking it might disagree with him but we are still getting stools that aren't normal for him.(Although slightly better and less prolific). However, what I am left wondering is Ds has shown improvements with speech, awareness and asserting his own will! He has started saying "no" to me which I think is a good thing?! So, is this the effect S.Boulardii can have? Should I have stuck with it?Ds only has prescription Nystatin and CP1 to fight yeast and we cook with coconut oil but I thought his yeast wasn't too much of a problem.Any views would be appreciated because I really don't know whether to try again. Many thanks and sorry the post was long. Sue
Guest guest
Yes but you usually get nasty rash within a few days of using it, we have had rash in past but its been die off not the Sacc B Mx I think it's possible to be allergic to sac boul as it's a yeast or have I got that wrong?
