Guest guest
I had to share this cute story. Since institution of the Zoloft and Benadryl, my son is still adjusting to his new sleep pattern. Yesterday evening, he fell asleep in my husband's and my bed while watching sports on TV with his dad. He ended up staying asleep until it was time for his dose of Zoloft late in the evening, even with my insisting he wake up. He recently had a bad bout of the stomach flu, I just decided he probably needed the extra rest. I woke him and gave him medicine, and he just went right back to sleep. When I got up this morning, there was a pot of coffee made with a hot cup already poured, a blanket on the couch for me, and he had picked up his " tent " mess that he made yesterday with sheets. He'd slept so long, he was up bright and early at 5:30 AM. I told him what he had done was so sweet, and he just said, " Well, it's the least I can do for you since you took care of me when I was sick and you help me with my OCD. " He said, " You take time out of your work to look up stuff about OCD that helps me " He has always been thoughtful like this, but I wonder if OCD in kids predisposes them to this kind of tenderness and sensitivity. Guest guest
I think you may be right! My 5-yr-old son Brayden is the sweetest kid! Everytime he goes to the doc he has to get two stickers... one for himself and one for his little sister! He is always thinking of everyone else! > I had to share this cute story.
