::waving to donna and vennitta:: !!!

donna, good to hear that you have the new KV stretch. i have it

too but am waiting on a media player with hard drive to arrive

here so i can get a bunch of workout footage off of my computer

and onto my TV ! should be here some time this week, then i

will be happy to try karen's new stretch. quite looking forward

to it.

vennitta - my hair was very long but also split and dry... i

doubt that anyone would have wanted it! it really was time

for it to go... but it is a shock since i havent had my hair

short in many many years. my 11 year old son did not recognize

me at first!!

I MISSED you Carolyn! For a minute I thought I was going to have to drive to your house to see you LOL Please post pictures of your new haircut! I got my hair cut short again the week before Christmas. I've had short hair since my first year in college...I think it looks better on me than long hair. My hair has a natural wave/curl to it but when it's long it's not as curly. PLUS short hair is easier to take care of especially in the summertime when I go swimming every day I can. I took pictures of myself for January with my new haircut....I will post them when I get a chance.Don't disappear again! Jen--- On

hi everyone!

one of my resolutions for the new year is to get back in with my

buddies here on EV!!! so here i am :)

i did do a workout today... not alot since it was supposed to be

a bit of a rest day... but i did go out walking with chinook (my

dog) and enjoyed a nice winter morning for a while. it was

snowing in my face, but it was from the south so it wasnt a bad

thing. after that i did functional activities, including taking

down all of the outdoor xmas lights and decos, putting away all

of the indoor decos and a bunch housework/cleaning. happily i

also had time for a bubble bath and an afternoon nap!! that

never happens, so it felt quite luxurious.

tomorrow i plan on doing an outdoor walk, some video workout

(taebo maybe?) and a stretch (did everyone see that karen voight

has put out a new stretch dvd?)

for the past 9 weeks ive been wearing a pedometer every day and

keeping a log of my activities and steps. i was disappointed

when i lost the darned thing last night :/ but this morning i

found it in the deep freezer chest -- it must have fallen in

there when i was putting the frozen food away after grocery

shopping. yay! also it still works!! double yay!

im getting my hair all cut off tomorrow... its very long and im

getting it cut to shoulder length. im quite looking forward to

it but hope that it turns out ok! after that there is a long

list of errands/shopping to accomplish.

im always busy but at least i dont have to go to work in the deli

!! i was worked to death there during december but january is

always a slow time in the grocery business so im getting a nice

break now.

i am still not used it, jen ! so far, im not liking it... im

still trying to figure out what to do with it.

also, im thinking that the next time i get my hair cut i will

change from my long-time stylist to someone new.

i did pick out a huge, colour photo from one of my stylist's

books as a guide for her to cut by, but i dont think that my hair

actually looks like that photo.

::sigh:: oh well, one good thing about hair is that it

grows...lol,

:*carolyn.

You may not like it (yet) Carolyn but I bet it looks great, hopefully you get used to it and love it, after all, it's your head. If nothing else, it will grow back healthy.Vennitta

It's hard to find someone good to cut hair.....I still haven't found a permanent person but I will go back to Great Clips since the hair dressers there do a good job...so far, at least. You may like it more as it starts to grow out some. I don't like it when my hair is first cut but in a week or two it's perfect...wish it would stay that way! LOL Jen
