I'm hoping that running at lunch will help burn off some of these pms induced ingested calories. Yesterday I was on a rampage, today I feel like crying. I really can't wait til Aunt Flo comes and this goes away, at least for a few weeks!

Anyway my second generation 1GB iPod Shuffle met a tragic end when it went through the wash. It's in a box of white rice and hopefully in a couple of months when it's bone dry it will come back to life, as I've heard of this happening before. It was a cute, clip-on, periwinkle shuffle.

My boss gave me a gift card to Amazon for $25 so I bought another shuffle and in the end it was $22 for the new fourth generation 2GB model, and it too clips on and is even smaller than the other one! It's light blue and has some new shuffly features. I love it, and it spit out a lot of goth tracks for me today as I ran in a light drizzle along Portland's waterfront, the same one they show in the trailer for the new tv show about Portland http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVmq9dq6Nsg

This is a funny clip, moreover, it's all TRUE! We do have a clown school, we do have coffee culture, we do have unicycles and double decker bikes, wild liberalism, and we do dress this way. Too funny! I can't wait to see the show!

Sadly, the fattest guy on the new Biggest Loser is from Portland. I hope he and his dad win! of Portland

Bummer about the Shuffle! They're such useful things. It might be OK, though. I washed a USB flash drive recently. The rice trick worked. I hope it works for you!
