Hi Everyone,I actually did it - usually if I don't workout first thing, it gets pushed aside, but today I actually did a mid-day workout and I noticed two things: 1) My performance is so much better in the afternoon - alas - it is not a good time for me to workout regularly; 2) I felt so much better afterwards - very calm but energized. Anyway, I did 45 min on the treadmill and did some hills. I'm happy that doing hills now does not seem to trouble my back as this gives me more options to keep the treadmill interesting - now I can do some climbs as well as using speed to increase the intensity. I vary the incline throughout the workout - so it isn't like I do a steady climb the whole time - I think that would make my back complain, but this seems

to work nice and mimics some of the outdoor walks I do. Afterwards I did a Mari Winsor Pilates workout - it was one she did for Shape last year or the year before. It includes work for arms, abs and legs. The floorwork for the legs is short, but really good. The arm stuff doesn't use weights, but I used light weights. It is all traditional "Pilates". I think I had another of hers that I traded (it used a band, as I recall) darn trader's remorse. Mari used to bug me, but in this one she was ok.Anyway - tomorrow is Firm Express Ignite Sculpt. Will tack something on afterwards and I'm toying with doing a mile first to wake up so I don't feel so out of it when I first start my workout.Take care -Donna

Great job Donna! My workout today was taking the Christmas tree down, dragging it around in back down a hill and to the fence that is around the West side of the townhouse complex...then I carried a 30lb box of sand to the basement for my kitties. Now my arms are SORE, Jen Subject:
