Guest guest
My favourite is Custom Probiotics CP1 Mandi x Hi Lucy Not advice on probiotic... rather that using a cranial osteopath may help sto phim getting the ear infections.. by helping his ears to drain better.. Tracey HiMy son is 2 and has been on GFCF with some good results. However he has had reoccuring ear infections for about four months now and has seldom been off antibiotics for this time. Can sombody please recommend a good probiotic to give him.We are new to the supplement side of things all he is on at the minute is a multi vit and omega oils from BioCare.Any advice greatly receivedThanksLucy
Guest guest
CP1 is good. it might be too strong for him (start with a tiny sprinkle) if so, let us know and someone will recommend a milder one. I just wanted to add that for ear infections or ear problems, always open the capsule as this way the probiotics work in the mouth and near the mouth (the ears are near the mouth) as opposed to below the stomach which is what you're aiming for when you give probiotics in a capsule. Guest guest
If grommets are in place use antibiotic ear drops rather than oral. GP may resist but my sons ear specialist advised their use.
Guest guest
I second Mandi on that one. CP1 all the way. Tonia
Guest guest
Yes, Custom cp1 were good for us too (we had tolerance problems with a lot of things including probios but cp1 were ok for us). Starting low and slow is good advice. We also emptied out of capsule (they taste quite nice I think). These probios also make a good SCD yoghurt. Best wishes, Sandy
