Dear Tahira

I have had two of different makes and they have been as good as each other, one more expensive than the other, however same good results.

I have not done any GF breads and have not done any yeast free one's either.- and think that if you are wanting to do yeast free, which suits most of our kids and wheat free too, then you may be better off simply making quick things like soda bread in a normal oven.

Best Wishes

Tracey

Dear ALL,

i wonder if anyone can suggest a breadmaker. i have looked at the kitchen aid ones but not sure if they work out best for breads and if so where to shop for the best priced ones. any suggestions welcome. thks tahira

When I did GF/CF bread years ago the reccommended make was cookworks, cheap and very good as I remember.

Hi TahiraI can only add to Tracey's comment on rectal diazepam. It was not great for DS and he did have problems breathing on the way to hospital once the ambulance guys gave it to him. We will only now use buccal midazolam in emergency situations. When we need to use it we call 999 as a back up and they have always been amazing. Not sure on antivirals/fungals, antiBs were ok. I just know that we have to go very slowly or we get a load more seizures.Kate

hi all,

Just got bak from my first consult with the dr. i have a six yr old with global delay and myoclonic epilepsy. i have worked hard with jean and got most of his terrible gut issues resolved but today dr ha s pointed the finger of blame at a what he feels could be serious herpes or some virus. he believes there is immunotoxicity and ha s ordered the neuroviral test ,result next week. because my son has bad s eizures daily dr goyal rated his risk high of a very bad die off which could lead to seriously

more seizures he felt he may even give ezythrocin and fluconazole so that there would be antiviral, antifunngal , antibiotic all there for three months and he would give steriod to supress the inflammatry reponse. in the meantime he gave sodium cromoglycate to dampen the mast cell response and see how much food could be causing anty problem. please please anyone reading this who has a child with seizures who used an antiviral let me know, i need advice. the dr felt rectal diazepam would also be usable just in case. so in

short a ten percent risk which he rates as high risk, i am just trying to figure this out. my brother a cardiologist consultant has warned that i should not use this antiviral . please advise or anyone who has used valtrex pls give me your account, why was it prescribed. thks tahira

Dear aHave a look in the files section of this group under The Scotson Technique.(TST). most of the problems you describe have been associated with abnormal breathing from the many years of work done by Scotson.. There are a number of families on this group who have been using TST and find improvements in all of these conditions.

Best WishesTracey

Hello

my name is a, I'm a mother of 3, 2 boys and a girl. M y second son who is 10yrs is autistic. He suffers from constipation which can be severe at times, he is also hyperactive and have sleeping problems. I'm very desparate to help him. I've been told to try omega oils, B6 and ant-yeast but there are so many of these supplements out there and I don't know which is which. I'll be grateful if you can point me in the right direction. I am not prepared to put him through an increase in seizures without having them part controlled in the first place and have no way to sell an experimental (IMHO) to the school, I may revisit but have declined for now

Mx

but if tests like the neuroviral panel show virus then there is immunotoxicity that should be treated? tst will help the seizures but not get read of inflammation and the actual virus that is there?

Have you thought of using Transfer Factors instead of Valtrex, my son (i believe) is viral kid, we are just embarking on this journey and are having test completed next week, he doesn't have seizures (thankfully) but that aside i would seriously consider Transfer Factors before Valtrex, just my opinion though.

Tom is gorgeous Sara and that is a really lovely thing to do for the therapists. Good to keep and look back on too.Was that relatively easy to do? I like the idea and my son's teachers have written the most beautiful poem that had everyone crying (he's leaving for another school). So I would really like to do something for them too. xFrom: Sara Moroza-

Thanks for your kind comments. It's not hard and Tracey, literally

just go on Windows Movie Maker and mess around with it! It's a bit

time-consuming but I enjoyed it.

I think that you can buy software that is even easier to use and

produces better results but I don't have any experience of it.

If you still want me to tell you how to do it, I don't mind at all.

Email me off-list or give me a ring 01792 296017 or 07854 792368
