Guest guest
It might be fungal/leaky gut related IMO. Are you using an antifungal or have an antifungal strategy. Sometimes when you start removing food and there are still other foods that are leaking you'll have some mucus relief in the gut and the other foods (or unmanaged bacteria and fungus) that are toxic start leaking out. It's a good idea to go " all out " on a diet, possibly add an antifungal, and add 50 mg of zinc (for a 3 year old let's say), 1000 mg Vit C, and some Cod Liver Oil and get an IGG Food Allergy test by blood (Great Plains or DD) asap. I would also consider an MB12 Spray trial as well. MB12 can help the gut digest food and starve bacteria and fungus. There is a whole strategy we discussed a few days ago for leaky gut, but these are the things I would start with. - Stan > > I've heard about the viral rash that kids can get while using > Valtrex. Guest guest
Well she does have yeast and bacteria (clostridia). It seems like maybe you think that maybe by taking off 1 toxin her body was able to deal with another toxin, maybe like an immune system stimulant. I am hoping I can build up some good bacteria before attacking yeast. She seems to be really detoxing something right now. I don't think her little body could handle one more thing - she's been extra emotional, tantrums...she is on zinc, 1000mg C and the oil. I stopped her injections (MB12) because of what was going on after taking out dairy. I added in Culturelle and a probio with a certain strain of bacteria good for Clostridia (can't remember). I;ll check out your strategy for leaky gut. Thanks. > > > > I've heard about the viral rash that kids can get while using > > Valtrex. Guest guest
When we go after viruses, we typically kickup fungus and bacteria. This happens not only with Valtrex but with natural antifungals as well. I suspect there is some viral mechanism in play. Maybe the viruses actually feed on the fungus. I'm not sure, but I believe in a bacterial/fungal and viral connection. If you see a lot of fungus and bacteria you tend to see viruses. If it were my child, I would go after the fungus now. You can add bacteria and kill fungus at the same time. The tantrums are likely from the fungal overgrowth. It's VERY common when treating viruses. Fungus alone can not only cause aggression and tantrums, but even cause autism in some cases. Fugus is a very significant issue. If you have levels of clostridia, I would take out rice and complex carbs. The bacteria you mean is Lactobacillius GG if I'm not mistaken. - Stan > > > > > > I've heard about the viral rash that kids can get while using > > > Valtrex. Guest guest
Do viruses feed? I thought they were not " alive " in the " eating " sense of the word. Guest guest
Hi Anne, What I have observed is that when we change the diet and/or use an antifungal we often kick up a virus from the gut (I have several videos that demonstrate this in adults). It seems like when the bacterial and fungal levels are reduced, we, at times, mobilize a virus. Why is that? Additionally if you look at what Dr. Wakefield viral work and Elaine Gottschall's bacterial and fungal work cross paths it's the ileum. Why is it that viruses, fungus and bacteria end up taking residence in the same place? Why is it that when we lessen the bacteria and fungus we often mobilize and then quite often kill off a virus? I've felt there is a bacterial/fungal - viral relationship for some time. I've had several theories about this and my latest came up when Valtrex AND natural viral remedies were causing greater amounts of fungus while seemingly lowering viral levels. IMO, it's possible that something about the presence of viruses lessens fungus and bacteria. - Stan > > > > > > > > > > I've heard about the viral rash that kids can get while using > > > > > Valtrex. Guest guest
Stan, I agree wholeheartedly that there is a relationship. In fact, I know, based on first hand experience. When we put my son on Virastop and OLE, his yeast shot through roof. I was very glad to have Diflucan on hand, since it didn't seem that the naturals would have been able to handle it. I have just wondered about the actual mechanism whereby the yeast is created. The only other time we get yeast bad (and it is not as bad as it was with the VS and OLE) is with ALA, which we love as well. Thanks Anne > > > > > > > > > > > > I've heard about the viral rash that kids can get while using > > > > > > Valtrex. Hello Stan and Group, Just the other evening, a friend was telling me about an interesting aspect of W. , PhD's work - acc. to my bad memory: that virii 'contain' bacteria. I apologise for providing such minimal information, but hope that it will be enough for those interested to pursue. I believe that the article that my friend was mentioning was one in which 's idea of " viteria " is discussed. I am sure someone here has prob brought this up before and more thoroughly and accurately than my contribution. To explore: http://www.s3support.com and prob some info at http://www.vaccinetruth.org/cytomegalovirus.htm Dr 's cautions re vaccine safely have not been met gently by the Powers That Be. His work is very provocative. Jo (new to this wonderful group - I use inj hydroxy B12 and am about to start Valtrex, have ME, upregulated Phase I and pretty incompetent Phase II CYP450, high cyst low glut with metal, infectious, chemical issues, etc ... )
Guest guest
Hi Anne, I don't know the mechanism yet. It is a topic that Dr. JM is raising for the next Think Tank. She reported it with LDN as well. I'm sure in time we'll get to the bottom of it. Guest guest
It appears that attacking viruses, for whatever reason, can cause yeast flareups. As Stan noted, we don't really know why. It just seems to be the case. Anne > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I've heard about the viral rash that kids can get while > > using > > > > > > > > Valtrex. Guest guest
I've met and read some of his works. I believe there are viruses that can't easily be tested for and that these herpes viruses we chase after in our toxic kids work synergistically with viruses we may not know about today, even stealth viruses like is focused on. What I can't get over is the evidence there is that has lied to parents and exploited families. This overshadows his work in my mind. I've also asked him on several occasions to just send me some information and that I would help him get his message out there if it made sense. He has never sent anything and I've heard this same story from other people. He also published information with TAAP Autoimmunity Project email broadcast and intentially misled people about conversations we had and took shots at DAN! for not allowing him to speak at their conferences without reviewing his materials first. All that aside, one of my passions is a greater focus and awareness to viruses in toxic children/people and if makes a discovery and can back it up I welcome it, but to date I haven't seen anything. - Stan > > > > Additionally if you look at what Dr. Wakefield viral work and > Elaine Gottschall's bacterial > > and fungal work cross paths it's the ileum. Guest guest
It doesn't seem like Valtrex does... but killing off viruses seems to. We see it with Valtrex and with natural antivirals as well like OLE and Virastop for example. - Stan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I've heard about the viral rash that kids can get while > > using > > > > > > > > Valtrex.
