Guest guest
Hello all, I just wanted to let everyone know about using KT and scoby pieces on my hubby. Jess is extremely allergic to wasp/bee stings or bites and three days ago he got stung by a wasp on the forearm that left a rather nasty hole in the skin that was burning very badly. Aproximately 1 hour had passed before Jess came into the house and complained to me about the pain. I put one drop of KT at a time in the hole, allowing each to dry in place before adding another one. Jess said that with the first drop the pain quit. He went back outside to finish his work and forgot about the sting until the next morning. He woke the next morning with a swollen circle on his arm about the size of a tennis ball surrounding the site of the sting. I then suggested he put a drop of KT on his arm while I took a thin scoby from the top of my 'hotel' jar and cut a dime sized piece from the scoby's edge. I placed the piece over the sting site and placed a bandage over the scoby piece. A short time later, the swelling was down and pain had stopped again. I made him wear that 'scoby bandage' for the entire day yesterday. Today there is no more swelling or pain. luvin' livin' with my KT & scoby's, Rae in Idaho __________________________________________________

Hi Rae in Idaho, A couple of weeks ago I had exactly the same experience when my brother was stung on the hand by one of the hundreds of wasps in my mother's waspnest ... in the garage roof ;-) Out came a piece of scoby and was bound onto the extremely painful site. I'm glad to say, I found that Kombucha worked as miraculously in Germany as it did in Idaho :-)) German-British greetings, Margret:-) -- +---------------------------------------------------------------+ Minstrel@... <)))<>< http://www.therpc.f9.co.uk <)))<>< http://www.AnswersInGenesis.com http://www.lamblion.com/ +---------------------------------------------------------------+ The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life. Guest guest
I'm not sure if I already mentioned to this group or not about my bee sting, about a month ago I was also stung by a bee clinging to the underside of a sponge that I grabbed.. as I was thinking about how much it hurt and wondering how much my hand would swell up this time I recalled how much the KT had helped soothe my dog's skin with her allergies so I immediately started to soak my finger in KT and the stinging stopped immediately... I continued to soak for a few minutes longer and my finger NEVER swelled up and my son couldn't even find where I had been stung a short time later... I can vouch for the effectiveness of KT with bee stings.. > > Hello all, > I just wanted to let everyone know about using KT and > scoby pieces on my hubby.
