THIS ITCHING IS DRIVING ME NUTS, ANY SUGGESTIONS?

That IS the problem. Right now 3 different doctors are telling me three

different things, in regard to my cirrhosis. It drives me crazy!!!!

Maybe there should be liver specialists, who deal with nothing but liver

problems, instead of an overall gastro doctor.

That's my thought on this.

I had heard that a symptom of cirrhosis is itching. If this is true

and its whats causing my itching, can someone PLEASE offer some help

or suggestions??????? thanks Laurie

My liver specialist put me on URSO, she said they found it didn't do that much

for the liver like they thought, but it does releave the itching. That's the

only reason I take it. Be prepared tho, it's very very expensive and if you

don't have a prescription plan, it will be a high price to pain to releave that

itch. lol

Daisy & Jeanne,

I too have cirrohsis but I don't have hep. C. And I was put on URSO. Strange

how doctors differ huh?

I have cirrhosis, as you know, and my doctor wouldn't put me on it.
