After being diagnosed with OCD and put on 50mg of Zoloft, he has had two accidents in the last 3 nights. Anyone know if I can blame it on the Zoloft? Guest guest Posted November 13, 2003 Report Share Posted November 13, 2003 My daughter had a similar problem for three nights in a row (getting up to go to the bathroom, but not quite making it there) when she started on Zoloft. It disappeared when we (at the suggestion of her new psychiatrist) lowered the dose & started working it back up slowly. Did he start on a 50mg dose, or did you gradually increase it up to there? (Clearly, I'm not suggesting you tinker with the dose, but if he did start the medication suddenly, maybe you should contact his doctor about the side-effect and see what s/he recommends). lisa > My 10 year old used to wet the bed quite often, but hasn't done it > in about a year to year and a half.
