Guest guest
We are feeling optimistic so I thought that I would share. has been on Valtrex for three days now. He has had rosy red cheeks with a bumpy rash. Earlier today I noticed the rash was on his chest. It was not red just bumpy. This afternoon it had spread to his arms. Later this evening, at bath time, we noticed that the rash was on his lower torso. Also, his diaper rash that he has had in varying degrees for almost a year now was almost completely gone. Tonight at bathtime he followed directions to undress himself. (This is something he has never done. He also held up a toy phone and said hi- also new and said bye to a family friend when she left. We were very excited.) He seems slightly more sensitive to sound and has been hiding under the table a little more than before. I am giving him a mb12 shot tonight and am curious if this will change anything. So far so good. I am holding my breath. Although it feels like I have been holding my breath for a year now. (He was diagnosed Dec 6th last year.) Thanks Stan for this site. I am feeling very hopeful and that is one of the best feelings after feeling powerless for so long. We may finally have a game plan here.
