Hi Debi!

Congratulations on being switched! I am so glad you are home, and I can't

believe that you actually went to work! Oh my goodness, girl, don't tire

yourself out, but that is fabulous news! Continue to do well!

Hugs and blessings, Ann

Oh my Lord Debi....You have more energy than I did......No way I could have

done anything related to leaving the house the first 6 weeks. I'm glad your

doing so well. maybe my leak and lack of nutrition for 2 weeks made me

weaker.....

Debi... Congratulations! Isn't it wonderful to be on the other side? Well,

you may not feel like it yet... but give it a few weeks and you're going to

feel WAY better! Already back at work at 18 days? Wow! I admire you,

girl!

Debi, congratulations on such an " uneventful " surgery! And congrat's on

the weight loss! We are glad to have you in our DS family. As for the

drain pull, well, we ALL have vivid memories of that event! It's just

the final rite of passage. Think of it as the final ordeal in pledge

week. You're not part of the Fraternity! :)

Debi,

You seem to be doing just wonderful as a new postop. May your loss

be constant and the digestion run easy! Great loss for your first

couple weeks! Keep warm because as those pounds melt away your going

to freeze! I am here in the Windy City and for the first time in

decades I am absolutely freezing my tail off, with shivers and

chattering teeth no less!

Debi!

I have sent so many prayers and good thoughts your way over this last month

I am so glad to hear they seemed to have helped. If only my surgery could go

so well! What a great attitude you have!

If you have any tips for out of towners coming in for surgery I sure would

love

to hear them.

Don't over do and please keep us updated!

Ahh Mel, you had a very hard time of it in the begining. You can not

compare us, I had it much easier than you. Besides I am just a

stubborn Alaskan!

Congratulations on the great weight loss.

Debi,

I'm glad everything went well for you and keep us updated! :) The

shower by Carmen is great, but that foot massage afterwards is

HEAVEN! :) :) I love Carmen, even when I visited her at 14 months

post-op, she knew my name and what room I was in when I was in the

hospital, etc :)

*hugs*

Sandi, I wanted to thank you for posting my status to the group. And

for the phone call to check on me. It was great meeting you also. I

see you have your surgery date. It will come so fast.
