Are you referring to Miralax? Yes, some do experience twitching type symptoms! For my son the first noticable affects was extremely pale, dark circles under eyes, bloating, lots and lots of urine. Jennie<><Jeanie Ward <dreamjeaniesbcglobal (DOT) net> wrote:

My son still has bouts of dark circles - they come and go. I THINK

they happen B4 he has a few days of cloudy urine. I'm just putting

these two things together. Others have talked about phenols and

yeast -- and it could be yeast since we rotate yeast treatments

frequently. BUT, more recently I read that it is linked to the

kidney meridian, so since we all think this damn stuff damaged our

kids kidneys.....

This is interesting. My other daughter who has problems with bedwetting (no history of Miralax in her case) also has bouts of dark circles under her eyes. (Though not so much as she gets older.) I'm always worried about her kidneys...

, my dd took it for 10 days and you can see the progression of her yearly picture's (In a frame of K-1st-2nd, 3rd, etc.) how bad her kindergarden picture looked, (she was 31/2 when she took it), and how every year she looked a little better, but it took years............. What about the shivering though, could you explain?Carl and Tracie Happel wrote: My son experienced the same thing...he's been off

The only thing I can explain is what he does...when he would take it, he would start to shiver as if cold about 15 minutes after ingesting. He would shake uncontrollably for about an hour - enough where it would interfere in his handwriting while at school. Now he's off, he doesn't shiver but the dark circles are there. Yes, they could be allergies cuz he's allergic to everything under the sun and has all kinds of metal build-ups but I don't have enough time to pay attention or alter his diet/lifestyle enough (although he's got plenty of accommodations). I have to pick my battles...

That's what I'm talking about, I was reading about my dog loosing color on her nose and ran across something about shivering and renal failure with something that affected the red blood cells and was seeing if there were any corolation, because my dd shivered like that after taking it too, but I was wondering what caused it, or could it be just the chemical reaction of it affecting the body, making it go, almost like that we shake when we are throwing up? I was just wondering how many people it happened to cause the doc, at the time didn't seem to be too concerned but when I read about all the people who ended up with renal failure and read what I did, it makes me wonder and there is a real reason somewhere, we just have to find it.
