Guest guest
Dear parents, I am humbly posting this message to share with you a website I put together to share my son 's recovery story. When my son was first diagnosed I looked everywhere for a child that really recovered from this devastating diagnosis. I also wanted an explanation of what went wrong with my son. Doctors didn't know. They didn't give my son a chance to live a normal life. was severely affected by autism and now he is doing as well as any typical child out there. Watch the before and after videos in the website's front page. This website demonstrates with videos, lab test results and medical research information that my son 's autism was a severe symptom for a medical illness. Once he got healthy the autistic symptoms went away. One thing I learned during this journey is that EVERY child with autism has the same medical illness my son has and that my son is no different than any other child with Autism. You would think that now that my son is recovered I would be happy. That is what I thought back when he was first diagnosed. Now, I can't live without thinking about all the lives being ruined by this devastating diagnosis. I hope this website can provide you with the hope and the tools to help your child get better. Guest guest
I do understand your point of view and I respect it. But, it is scientifically impossible to have an epidemic of a genetic or a developmental disorder. You might be an unique case and I would have to see if you have ran all the lab tests below to confirm your theory. Every single child I have had the opportunity to look at their lab tests show signs of autoimmunity and inflammation. What you think causes food allergies, ezcema, seizures, brain inflammation, IBS and all the other medical symptoms children with autism suffer from? Immune System Dysfunction. It might be passed on from parent to children, that's no doubt about that. But it is still a medical illness due to immune system dysfunction. Does your child suffer from any of the medical problems mentioned in the website or above? Have you tested your child using the lab tests below? Do you have your child in any special diet? How do you think my son improved? Have you looked at his videos? I wish you all the best. Respectfully, Lab tests to diagnose an autoimmune disorder Complete Blood Count Immune Panel (to include the following) Total & Percent CD4 Total & Percent CD8 Total & Percent CD16 / CD56 Total & Percent CD19 NK function Sedimentation Rate C-Reactive Protein Quantatative Immunoglobulins (IGG, IGA, IGM, IGE) Immunoglobulin G Subclasses Cytokines/TNFR Lab tests that help determine what caused the autoimmune disorder Allergy Blood Test (RAST) http://www.labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/allergy/test.html HHV6 titers Rubella, Measles and Mumps IGG Titers EBV IGG/IGM Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (including SGOT / SGPT) CMV IGG/IGM Thyroid Panel ANA Titer Gliadin Antibodies Herpes I & II IGG / IGM sakie Virus A & B ASO Titers Lyme Disease Test > > This is a great story, but please understand every autistic child does NOT suffer from the same " illness. "  My children have no viral/bacterial issues. They do, however, have genetic issues. That is the basis for their autism. This is why they call it a spectrum disorder. There are numerous issues/causes that manifest as " autism. Guest guest
: My son's journey is in the archive on the site. I've already well documented to others all the things we've done. You can go read it there if you wish. We are about to do the genetic tests, not that it matters because I am not having any more children and my son will never be able to be a father because of other disabilities he has, other than my own curiosity. Guest guest
: I've watched the videos on your site. Your son is adorable. By the way, it is called "stimming" (as in self-stimulatory behaviors) not "stemming." Here is my son after our district took applied behavior analysis away from him. http://tinyurl.com/dmk3o4 Hilda 's Story Website - http://www.stopcallingitautism.net/> > Â > Dear parents,> > I am humbly posting this message to share with you a website I put together to share my son 's recovery story. Guest guest
I'm so glad to hear about your son's progress. When information is shared about a point of view here, people read it or not and make a decision about whether they should look deeper into the ideas- as with anything concerning autism, there will be as many views as there are individuals. The information has been provided and we can read it and ask questions if we wish.... Hopefully in a private message. Is it possible to move on from this "hot" topic? The back and forth is filling mailboxes. If you have a need to continue, please trim your messages as a courtesy to those on digest. Thanks!Fran"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind."--Dr. Seuss Think Autism.Think Cure. Now at 21, has a beautiful girlfriend, is a mechanical engineering student at the top of his class, loves surfing, was the president of a student association, is very well spoken and belongs to a fraternity. She also validates the immune connection and the experience she had with her son. Join the Stop Calling It Autism! Yahoo group and you can post questions for her. Her name is Marcia Hinds. http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ stopcallingitaut ism/
Guest guest
I applaud your stamina and research in trying to find help for your son. However, the video posted does not prove by any means that your son is " cured " . It shows a boy reading, interacting with a younger sibling. I would like to see a video showing your son interacting with typical peers, in a typical school setting, during a fire alarm... I have yet to meet a child who has been cured from Autism and unfortunately, this video does not change that.
