Guest guest
SSRIO's always made me feel MUCH better, however, determined not to take them this time, addresing adrenals even early stages as I am have totally lifted me and I believe now what was Dx as depressionw as actually adrenal fatigue FWIW Mx Dr Mercola has issued an interesting article today on why the theory on chemical imbalances in the brain being root of depression is seriously flawed and why SSRIs do not work.. Guest guest
Only you cold have thought of a line like that at a time like that! Mx I totally agree with both of you, i remember when my Conor was in and out of hospital and i was an emotional wreck, i got pushed into going to the doctors, so i went and they offered me anti-depressants, i looked him in the eye and said "so if i take them, it will make my son better, yes?", the doctor looked totally perplexed, i explained that i felt like i was going through a grieving process but he wasnt forthcoming with any other solution, looking back i think i should have really been referred to a counsellor. x To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: thelifechangers@...Date: Wed, 6 Apr 2011 16:50:53 +0100Subject: Re: OT why antidepressants are flawed science I think that it has been too easy to label us... in my own case I think that too much stress and too much worry.. because I did not have the skills to cope, resulted in adrenal fatigue here too.. and then damage to my thyroid... So learning how to deal with situations better.. in my case asking for help, eating healing foods and now addressing thyroid issues will be a long term solution. SSRIs are a sticking plaster.. not a way to heal an underlying issue..
