I have pickled steamed beets very successfully. I liked them just as well as

those made from baked beets. Since I could taste no difference, I prefer to

steam because the skins are easier to remove.

is there a difference between lima sea salt and celtic?

they seem to be harvested from the same place-

lima's package says nothing of the mineral content, and of course celtic's

does............

-also, has anyone made the pickled beets?

can they be steamed vs baked?

i have a bunch here already steamed- maybe that creates to much water
