Guest guest
Pam, This is a great resourse you might want to check out. http://www.cancertutor.com/ It is loaded with information about various types of Alternative treatments for Cancer. a Re: Treatment Centers for protocol > > Are they capable of logging on to this list? > Leo If either were interested in alternative health treatments they would certainly be capable of logging onto this list. One I am slowly bringing around to considering alternatives since his much-admired doctors are stumped. The other is a bad alcholic and is lashing out at the world. I am one of the few people he trusts and if I can offer him a few places where he could to and be resident for a month or whatever, he might be persuaded to do it. I'm not sure why my simple request led to what seems to me to be a reply verging on rude. I am happy to consider any kind of alternative health facility whether it follows the protocol or not. It surprises me a great deal that there would only be the clinic in Mexico and not others. We all we belong to this list realize what a stranglehold the AMA has on the practice of medicine in America. I'm trying to find some alternatives for two people who are currently suffering because they are adherents of traditional medicine. Guest guest
I live in Florida, and I know the sun is not what helps my psoriasis improve. I'm in the sun often, with no change. But when I hit the beach and soak in the salt water, I improve drastically! My hubby claims it's really the fish poop, lol.... Penny Subject: Re: sun or salt water? [was: Filed on the 5th] Here is my 2 cents' worth: I think it's mostly the sun, but people have been going to the Dead Sea for treating their psoriasis for ages and ages, and they swear by it (of course, where there's salt water there's generally also sun, so could be a chicken-and-egg thing...). _______________________________________________________________ Get your personalized email address at http://NamePlanet.com <http://www.nameplanet.com>
Guest guest
LOL I know that the salt water dries out my skin to much but maybe there is something to the fish poo. I live close to the gulf so maybe i should spend more time in it. I have never tried spending a lot of time in the salt water so I would not know if it helps or not. I do know that normally the sun alone helps my ps but this summer I have so much stress in my life that nothing is really helping and there is no way that the stress is going to go away.........hopefully for a long time but just dont know and that is the stress. Hubby is very ill. I know I should not worry and keep saying to myself that worrying is not going to change a thing but it does not help. How can one turn off the old brain? Guest guest
" Let Me Hear Your Voice " is a great book by Maurice that gives much hope and explains all the devastation you feel when you get this diagnosis. Hope this helps! Guest guest
If they trust you Pam, as you say they do, then they probably would join this or any other list but if you asked them. You mention that you would be happy to " consider any kind of alternative health facility whether it follows the protocol or not " . There are a multitude of alternative health facilities that can be reached on the internet, and I invite members of this list to post them for you. Just invite them to join this list or any other, and see the proof of whether they trust you or whether you are assuming their trust. Guest guest
Pam, I went to post #1467 on this list and it is all about sea salt. Are you referring to another list? Guest guest
Great! Thanks so much for the reply. Was he having a reaction that you could see from the depakote to the liver? We are now on 2000mg with no side effects but I know it isn't good for him to be taking that much. His metabolism is just so fast he needs a lot of pills to keep levels up. foxhillers@... wrote:In a message dated 4/25/2004 1:51:18 PM Eastern Daylight Time, writes: From: Goad <valerie_toolbox@...> Subject: Milk Thistle Do any of you use milk thistle with your kids for their liver while taking the AED's?
