Guest guest
I would recommend you hand carry your MRIs when you see a specialist AND take them back right away. They can get lost and you will never see them again. I've been fighting with the University I went to twice in 2006 to get my MRIs and X-Rays back. I got half of them only. (the open MRIs, the oldest is all I got back) Today I called again and spoke with the NS. He says he doesn't have them in his office. (why store them in his office?) We argued. He just pushed it back on me, when his report states what films I brought in and he viewed. He recommended I go back to the MRI lab and get a copy. And I said with this copy I will have to pay. (I got the original films for him, and a CD copy for TCI, which was later cancelled last yr.) Most Specialists' want the films, and not CD, so I was mad that they lost them when I left my MRIs and X-Rays in their care. I am so upset that they can treat you so casually and tell you to get more copies. They are expensive when you've lost the originals and a complimentary copy on CD for the Specialist out of state in NY. So frustrating. Pls keep your own copies and do not leave them anywhere, even if you think you are going back to the same Specialist.
