Make my scoby grow better? If more sugar is added does the process

take longer to make the tea? Right now I make 2 quarts of tea (3

lipton and 1 green and I add 1 cup sugar) My scoby comes out thin and

almost translucent. When I got my scoby it was opaque white and

thick. Am I doing something wrong?
