Guest guest
Apparently Valtrex won't pick up all of the Herpes strains (and it is my understanding that Valtrex is not effective on non-Herpes viruses), so it makes sense that layering or rotating anti-virals could have some benefit for kids with heavy viral loads. There is some discussion of this in the A-M archives. Earlier today I posted one link to a message found on Onibasu.com that Theresa Binstock wrote about the HHV6 virus and treatment options that I found very thought provoking.Anne TX much anne. that's good info for me too as my son tested high for hhv1,2,6 and other viruses. i'll check with his doc. vicki

Guest guest
Thank you so much for all of your input. I am not starting the Lauricidin yet until my son is through his Valtrex trial period I will check with my DAN as to when we can throw in the Lauricidin. Thanks again! Guest guest
for us, lauricidin increased the gut yeast like crazy. mom and dad tried it too and have never had gut problems before but we did then. we came off lauricidin and found virastop much more effective and much less yeast . we started valtrex with virastop then stoppped the virastop to have a more controlled experiment. we saw some rash and regression then nothing more. we are at day 25 and planning to add back in virastop after day 40, we have an endoscopy scheduled then and will wait to make changes until after that is done. ...teresa c > > Can you use Valtrex and Lauricidin together? >
