Hi Nita,

Welcome to the group! You'll soon discover that there

are lots of knowledgeable people on this list. I've

not myself been cooking very much for some time; my

experience with NT is in making lots of gelatin rich

bone broths and in experimenting with fermented

foods, mainly raw sauerkraut and kefir. Also I've

consumed a fair amount of raw animal products in my

life with no ill effects. I don't know where to get

good raw milk in the S.F. bay area. Short of making an

arrangement directly with a farmer I don't know of

great sources. When I consumed raw milk I'd buy it

from Claravale Farms via Whole Foods but I don't know

how well their cows eat. I'm pretty intolerant of

dairy, even raw and fermented, so I'm not a good one

for paying attention to dairy sources.

Radiant Life (http://4radiantlife.com) carries a

number of items helpful to the NT way of eating and I

thought they carried a good source of butter but I'm

not able to find it now on their web-site.

?

I used to live in the East Bay (Union City) but now

I'm living in the Peninsula (Redwood City.) I'd be

very interested in hosting or in helping others to

host potlucks in the South/East Bay. My house pretty

comfortably could host a dozen people for a

food/social gathering if there are enough local people

interested in such an event.

and his partner Marie, who run the

4radiantlife business, live in Marin County. They

might join us as well.

Again, welcome to the group.
