Guest guest
Dear , Thanks for your reply. We'll stick it out but I am also wondering if we need to either increase the dose (currently at 500 mg 2x/day) and/or treat for yeast. We have no tests indicating yeast--I am going strictly on behavior. Opinions? Guest guest
Hi, I don't know if you should increase the dose. You should make a call to your DAN! doctor for that. Diego is taking 250 3x/day. He is 2.10 and 32 pounds. For yeast, mmm well, I don't know if you are on SCD (less IGG foods as Stan suggests), if you don't it is a good idea to start it ASAP. That could help with yeast/behavior. Check the caveman diet (based on SCD) at: http://www.childrenscornerschool.com/diet.htm A high percentage of kids getting Valtrex are experiencing this kind of regression. In many cases the gains following the regression are really good. I hope this helps, .- Dear ,Thanks for your reply.
