Guest guest
My son is on day 12 of a prescription antibiotic (Sulfa/Trim) and antifungal (Diflucan) combination for his gut and we've seen such great things in the last few days (following some big die-off days)! However, he seems to be detoxing through his skin. It started with a rash on his lower legs, then yesterday it was his entire legs, and now today it's crept up his chest, arms and even a little bit on his chin and cheeks. I'm quite confident it isn't an allergic reaction as it is nothing like the typical antibiotic-related allergic rash (I'm a pharmacist). Any tips on how to soothe the skin or on how to help release the toxins? He isn't itching, so that's good and behaviourally he's doing great. Would epsom salt baths or baking soda baths help? Or maybe a green clay bath? Any supplements you recommend to help him with this detox phase? Here's a photo of the rash: http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t320/slmmiller/A.jpg Thanks for any suggestions, Sheri
