Guest guest
This extreme house make over story is interesting. However, what exactly does " to make the house free of dust and mold " mean? Did someone measure the TSP and Mold before starting the project. What was the Merv rating on the furnace filter.? Did they measure TSP and Mold after the project was done.? WHat about measuring TSP and mold after 3 months, 6 months 9 months out to 18 months. THe time period that Canadian research showed new homes reach equilibrium. And what about HVAC dust. Studies in Florida should that 6 weeks after duct clean the TSP level went back to where they were before duct cleaning. I would hope that this episode does not give false impressions that a " house free of dust and mold " without positive pressurization, HEPA filtration and walk of sticky mats. (THIS IS THE MINIMUM FOR A CLEAN ROOM THAT IS " free of dust and mold " AS DEFINED IN USP. Guest guest
Hi Bob, Why don't you watch the show and find out? Then you can let the rest of us know what you think. Maybe you'll need to contact the producers, or someone in the know. Those questions need to be asked and answered, but until the show airs, and someone with your knowledge and experience can review it, none of us will know. I'm eagerly awaiting your post Monday morning! Pat. Wyatt Bob s wrote: This extreme house make over story is interesting. However, what exactly does "to make the house free of dust and mold" mean?
