Guest guest Posted April 16, 2007 Report Share Posted April 16, 2007 Hi, My son was diagnosed with ACM2 with tonsilar hernation of 21mm, a syrinx and an arachnoid cyst. He is asymptomatic ( mild symptoms not frecuently) also has growth hormone problems. I want to know if these two conditions can be related, also want to know if the arachnoid cyst can be the cause of his growth problems or the overcrowding of the brain due to the chiari or the arachnoid cyst affects the pituritary and prevent him to secret growth hormone properly. Do you all know of someone who was descompresed and has this growth problems. Please if someone who read this post can help me or give information I would be very grateful.
