Hi,

I thought I would share this, it might help someone. I can't vaccum

b/c it usually leads to a strain in my neck and a terrible headache.

I also read on a website someone said people with Chiari should

not vacuum but if they have to use short strokes with the vaccum. My

husband is nice enough to vaccum most of the time. But if he doesn't

get to, or things are looking kind of nasty..I use a Swivel Sweeper.

It is very lightweight only weighs 2-3 lbs. And it is really good at

picking up trash from the carpeted and non-carpeted floors. It was a

very good investment and it was only $20-30. You may have seen an

infomercial for it before. The only thing is that hair can gets

caught around the bottom of it, but you can use your hands to remove

it. It has really helped me. It is good also for those days your

family or friends call and say I am coming to your house, and I am on

my way! Had that happen a lot! You can vaccum in no time with this

Swivel sweeper. If you are interested just Goggle it and I am sure

the website will come up for it.

Also about the health insurance posts. I really wish I could help you

out! My Cobra, I have had for 3 years next May. Since I am

unemployed for the past 2 years. But it runs out next May and I

dont know what I am going to do. I have to have health insurance, or

I can't afford my meds or to even go to the Dr.! Especially with

just my Hubby working.

Also, I have started accunpuncture. And I have been really sore, but

it was my first session. I go back tomorrow. I was trying Elavil and

it didn't really help with the pain. So I am desperate for relief.

I contacted my nurse at TCI but didn't hear anything. So I took

matters in my own hand and asked my local neurologist about

Accpuncture and he said it was worth trying. And it is good b/c the

man that does it, is also a medical Dr. That way my insurance pays

on it. It is one of the very few things I haven't tried over the

past 7 years.

I feel for the people who don't have health insurance and aren't able

to work. I can relate. I wish the President would improve health care

costs, like

he said he would! But that is a whole nother topic. I hope everyone
