Guest guest
Hello all! I have a big question. I'm heading off to TCI for my 2nd surgery in 2 weeks. I'm having the Invasive Cervical Traction and the Craniocervical Fusion. Plus, something about stuffing my brain back in my head. LOL. I know that you are supposed to avoid roller-coasters and activities that cause excessive jarring to the head and neck with a fusion. But, what I'd like to know is what kinds of exercise and fun activities can you all still do? Like, can you all go swimming and is it harder? Can you all ride a bike? Or is the inability to turn your head a problem? Can you go to water parks as long as you avoid the dangerous waterslides? Can you snowboard or ski? Can you surf? Can you learn to scubadive? There are so many fun things I've never tried and I wonder which ones I'll just have to forget about trying and find something else to do. Any input you all could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Detethered 11/06 @ TCI ICT/CCF scheduled for 5/23/06 @ TCI
