Dear Beth,

When we filled out our paperwork from TCI, we checked the box and put an " S "

next to it to remind us it was a " sometimes " answer. The questionnaire should

include the following for ways to answer each question:

" A " - for " always or most of the time "

" S " - for " sometimes "

" R " - for " rarely "

" N " - for " never "

I don't know about you, but my symptoms (and that of my children) are not

always constant throughout the YEARS. So a symptom may rear its ugly head for a

while, but it isn't what we are currently dealing with. Whether they needed to

know, who knows ... We assumed that it was a " if you ever had this happen " type

of questions. Hopefully we did it right.

May tomorrow bring you much love, kindness, relief, compassion, and

understanding!

With kindest remembrances ~ Namaste,

12 yrs old - Chiari II (Chiari with Tethered Cord Syndrome<TCS>),

Pseudotumor-like Cerebri, Syringomyelia, and Basilar Invagination - Surgery for

TCS coming up July 10

Dan 15 yrs old - allegedly Chiari I malformation, decompressed in '98,

continued herniation on the right side, Basilar Invagination, and most likely

Tethered Cord Syndrome

Mike 21 yrs old - allegedly Chiari I malformation, Basilar Invagination, and

most likely Tethered Cord Syndrome

We will know more on the boys when we see Dr. Bolognese (hopefully in July)

I am filling out a questionaire of my symptoms and I'm wondering when

ticking off the checklist of symptoms, should I be only checking that I

have all the time or often or those that I have some of the time also?

Thanks

Beth
