Guest guest
I left Florida last year to get Early Intervention services for my son. They only gave us 2 hours of parent training a week, while in NY we are getting 41 hours of combined therapies, mostly ABA. It is my understanding that the new law will require FL state regulated insurance policies to cover the same therapy services that are covered under medicaid and that you do not need to wait until the child comes to the top of the medicaid waiting list to get those services. However, I don't know what services in particular medicaid covers, but now your insurance should cover them too.
