Guest guest
I'm not sure it's unusual for healing regression to last. Most of our physical symptoms are gone, but we still have a gunky nose, and some behavioral things like teeth grinding and being more emotional/tantrummy. We're currently on Day 28. cheers, > > > > Both of my children have sinus infections and croupy coughs that > > started on day 30 of Valtrex. Guest guest
Hi - Preston just went thru the same thing. His fever reached 103. Got very nervous for a bit. But he plugged thru it and has progressed quite well. The runny nose, fever, cough lasted for about 1 1/2 week. I kept him on decongestant and expectorant. You guys are a few days ahead of us on starting Valtrex. > > Both of my children have sinus infections and croupy coughs that > started on day 30 of Valtrex. Guest guest
Hey - me again. Preston went to a slight diarreha again too. Was very sad thinking the good stools were history but they went back to normal again. Just our experience. > > > > Both of my children have sinus infections and croupy coughs that > > started on day 30 of Valtrex. Guest guest
It's unusual, but it does happen. I tend to believe the more involved kids will take a bit longer to get over the healing-regression. - stan > > > > > > Both of my children have sinus infections and croupy coughs that > > > started on day 30 of Valtrex. Guest guest
Hang in there . I wouldn't give up just yet. It's still early in the big scheme of things. - Stan > > Hey - me again. Guest guest
Hi Stan: Rubén's now on day 29/30, and we're STILL seeing reoccuring rash stuff. He's got red rashes in his kneepits (which we've seen before, even pre-Valtrex), and a bumpy one on his tummy. Couple of questions for you, Stan: 1. " I tend to believe the more involved kids will... " I'm afraid I'm a bit confused as to what you mean by " involved. " It's not clear from your message. 2. You've mentioned that you tend to see a lot of kids " leaking " eggs. I'm curious about this. How exactly is this seen? Physical symptoms? Behavior? Testing? I'm curious as to how you reached this determination. We removed the buckwheat and starches per your suggestion and saw great stools as a result (thanks!). He does still eat a lot of eggs, though. Lately, we occasionally have " halfsie " stools, with half being brown and solid, and the other half being green and mushy. The dark circles under his eyes do a similar jeckyll & hyde act - sometimes they're barely noticeable; other times it looks like he's been in a fight. It's GOT to be something he's ingesting... He's had an IGG test, and we do occasionally feed him 1+ foods just to get in a little variety (there are fewer than 20 available " allowed " foods he can currently have without breaking out into some kind of rash). We worry about exacerbating allergic reactions even more if we further limit the number of foods he can eat. Any suggestions? cheers, > > > > > > > > Both of my children have sinus infections and croupy coughs that > > > > started on day 30 of Valtrex.
