So i couldnt find the message i wanted to tag on to so I'll start a new one.

Topamax can cause memory loss also, so if it seems to increase after starting

that drug that could be the reason. I was on 400 mgs twice a day. I couldnt

remember anything, i would be like hey i need that thing and would make a

cutting motion with my hands, i couldnt remember the word scissors or cutting.

It was absolutely horrible. I would get to the atm and blank out, i still do

that sometimes and boy is that embarassing, i now keep my pin number in my phone

as a pretend phone number so i can look it back up. I keep an index card under

my keyboard for signons and PW's as i am horrible at remembering them and dont

like to save financial and business type passwords onmy computer. We are

constantly online with cable hookup and we have a router and firewll protection

but nothing is hacker-proof.

I have just found easy little ways to remember things. Funny thought during the

eds study she said how sharp my memory was, gee just cause i found a way to

remember the 3 items she told me.
