DS is eight, and is in third grade technically since he was skipped a grade. He has an outside diagnosis of a visual tracking deficiency and cannot judge the distance to, or height of, paper. He also flips many letters and replaces words. As his VI teacher at school says that he can read 8 pt font (??? indivdiually or in a paragraph - don't know), his only accomodation is raised line paper and a slant board. Of late, outbursts have resulted from increased demands on reading longer paragraphs. We do have a DARS VI caseworker but I haven't heard from her since around November.

DS is frustrated, and the school doesn't see a problem. We had an evaluation by Ann Voss last summer. Anyone have any experience with this and have suggestions for the next ARD?
