Nutritional lithium is an important nutrient that is often

Lithium has been around a long time as a medication, specifically

something called lithium carbonate, and used for individuals with bipolar

depression. The problem is lithium carbonate as a drug in high

dosages can be toxic and difficult to manage. Nutritional lithium

Lithium is a nutritional element that we should get through our

diet and is important to help stabilize brain chemistry. There

are research studies that have looked at various communities and

their individual crime rates and found that the lower the rate of

lithium in the water supply, the higher the rate of crime -

sometimes violent crime.

Lithium as a nutritional supplement in my experience, in low

doses, is a very safe and effective remedy for many individuals

on the autism-spectrum - particularly if aggression, mood

swings and emotional instability are present. I generally

recommend starting with 500 to 1000mcg daily, but I have seen

dosages upwards of 5000mcg daily needed as well. So think about

nutritional lithium as a potentially useful supplement for your

child if they suffer with mood disorders, irritability,
