Hi,

I buy DMSO at a local health food store. On the top, one bottle says

99.9% pure DMSO. Another bottle has the same note at the top but at the

bottom, it says, 70% DMSO and 30% distilled water.

I am assuming that the 99.9% pertains to the purity of the product and

the 70% pertains to the dilution, but am wondering if the bottle that

does not say anything about dilution is actually 99.9% DMSO?

Anyone else notice this?

No, if your bottle says 99.9% pure DMSO, it should be exactly that which is

how most DMSO is sold. A 70% DMSO and 30% distilled water solution is not

99.9% DMSO, though it may have used a 99.9% DMSO which was diluted down

further with distilled water to 70%.

My bottle says that also and I believe your assumptions are correct ...the stuff

really works but I certainly add more distilled water than they add originally

)
