Guest guest
Heartbreaking but had to share. RE: Let us push for the " King Law " nationwide - no seclusion, locked, padded, isolated rooms for children. No physical restraints unless a life is endangered. No Tasers onchildren. Helping children requires patience and training in how to modify behavior by mediating and remediating, not beating and demeaning. Here is the story that lead to the above.Remember when one is affected, it is like messing with anyone of our kids.RE: " On the day killed himself, his shoes had been taken from him so he couldn’t kick the door of the seclusion room, Tina King said. “But they left him with a rope long enough so he could hang himself,” she said. “Had they just given him enough rope to hold up his pants, this never would have happened. Had they called me and said he needed a belt, this would never have happened.”http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-politics-elections/seclusion-restraints-could-be-525752.html
