We have acquired the space, developed the curriculum, and have access to the equipment, but we do not have enough camp counselors. UTAP, a non-profit with no paid employees, is dependent upon UT students seeking service –learning hours in order to produce programs for families. This summer we will not have access to the number of students needed to safely run a camp. It is our future goal to have the funding to hire appropriate personnel so that we may offer programs well in advance and be less student-dependent. We will continue to strive to meet your needs in the Fall 2009 semester. Sincerely, Pamela Buchanan Director Of Programs The University of Texas Autism Project (UTAP)"Where the Pieces Come Together"Department of Kinesiology and Health Educationwww.edb.utexas.edu/utap
