Guest guest
Hi Hilda, I want to let you know that you are not alone.I think most districts including ours have the same type of forms. I also do not feel comfortable signing those forms...maybe because my child, like yours is more vulnerable being on the lower end of the spectrum. Surprisingly most parents sign these forms and that is why districts keep sending them. If parents think it is ok ; I do not; taking my child's needs under consideration. I am ok signing those forms for my neurotypical child. It is so amazing how these forms have become general practice anywhere you go: in the gym,in a sports activity, even in hospitals if you need to have surgery or receive anaesthetic,at the dentist's.It is really frustrating !
