How far can it go?

Hi,

I'm wondering how bad this condition can get.

I read somewhere that the syrinx over time can cause paralysis. I

understand that it is a possibility, but I'm wondering if anyone knows

of any statistics as to how often does it happen?

I also read that if a person does reach paralysis, they can actually

die from complications of things like pneumonia, because their lung

muscles dont function well.

Can anyone confirm or deny these claims? (I wish I kept the links!)
