Please email me privately if you wish. Thank you, T 145.00 every 4-6 weeks for 20 minutes. BCBS will not cover it so it is out of pocket. A.C. Guest guest
Good point on not wanting to raise some red flags so we'll have to think it through on how best to approach it. Maybe best to do one kid at a time with special emphasis placed on the viral issues. BCBS has been wonderful for us at covering many things I didn't think they would so far so perhaps I'll be able to come up with some sort of a way to get at least some coverage on this. We'll see. Guest guest
Just a thought from someone on a different insurance--We have not had any trouble getting the insurance co. to pay for any visits, meds, tests, scans etc.. that Dr. Goldberg wanted at the " In network " rate of usually $5-10. They have been very helpful, but absolutely refuse to pay for a phone appointment. They have a line in their manual that restricts phone appointments for any patient with any doctor. They do not discriminate against Dr. G. and are more than happy to pay if we get to see him in person. Maybe the fight doesn't need to involve Dr. G or his practices at all. It might be an across the board ruling found in their manual. Just a thought-maybe not a helpful one, but just a thought. Lori in PA. Guest guest
Hi Lori, Can I ask which insurance you have? It sounds really good! Heidi Re: Re: Fees for phone consult? Guest guest
My insurance has same restriction. It stated it will not pay any phone console. However Dr. Goldburg is in my network, so office visit is covered. Since I am in Illinois, it will not help me much. Guest guest
Hi Heidi, It's just a tiny PPO group from the Berks, Lancaster and surrounding counties of south central Pennsylvania. The one from Berks County is called Berkshire Health which is a unity affiliate. They were very receptive to talking with me and working with me about Dr. Goldberg and Dr. Fosnot. They have really enabled us to fully utilize both providers without bankrupting our family. If you live in the area or are interested in more info, please feel free to email me privately. Guest guest
Heidi, Where are you in N. CA? I'm there, too. Would you mind contacting me off list? I'd like to see if there is anyone else you use for assorted services that I may be close enough to. I'm in East Bay. susanwald@... Re: Re: Fees for phone consult?
