Guest guest
Sorry, but this comment was from a different topic.@Haven I have sent numerous emails only to be avoided by the district including the 'Director of Sped Ed.' I ask direct questions to the principal and to director and he ignores all of them and says "I was hoping we can meet this week to TALK?" They don't want anything in writing!!!!!!!! I WILL NOT MEET WITH HIM WITHOUT AN ADVOCATE! Any advice?????I am sure there are those who have more knowledge than I. We have had our battles with the school district and probably will have more. I am pretty sure that you can call an ARD at any time. They have to transcribe or keep minutes of the meeting. I have read those minutes and there were times some things were left out, but if it is recorded, you can demand they put every word in there. Also, have a tape recorder there. If they want to meet to TALK, let them, but record everything they say. C.
