Guest guest
I make a batch of tea and separate them into several bottles. I notice that the tea in the smaller bottles are lighter than the tea in the bigger bottle. Why is that if it cam from the same batch? There is also a slight difference in the taste. Just curious.... Just curious.... Yeeees, I had noticed that happening with my tea when I don't mix the KT after pouring it off into a fresh bucket and eliminating the bottom yeast ... The explanation I have (and it's only a guess!) is that the strength of the tea varies within a bucket, the strongest concentration, including the colouring, being towards the bottom of the vessel (the heavier particles sinking towards the bottom!) Therefore, if you siphon the KT into bottles, the top would be the lightest and the later siphoned or poured off would be darker. Is that your observation?
