Guest guest
Raw milk sours sweetly if it's left out at room temperature and can be used in any of the NT recipes where piima or buttermilk are called for. However, if your raw milk soured in the fridge it's no longer good (from my experience it takes on a bitter flavor) and should probably be discarded or fed to the chickens or dog. I only eat raw eggs if they are home-grown and/or free-ranged. A book on chicken keeping I read said that a case of salmonella had never been documented from such eggs, but the rate of salmonella contamination in regular store-bought eggs can be very high.
