Guest guest
Colleagues: A physician just asked me about the Trane CleanEffects system, which has new, patented technology. According to the Web site (http://www.trane.com/Residential/Products/air-filtration/CleanEffects-Air-Filtr\ ation) CADR (Clean Air Delivery Rate) = 1200. (!!!) Device generates a tiny amount of ozone that can be 3 ppb in the house itself. The device appears to be a variation on an electrostatic precipitator; but you maintain by a vacuum or rinse every 3-9 months, which is unlike the precipitators.. It is NOT on the CA list of ozone generators. (http://www.arb.ca.gov/research/indoor/ozone.htm) Any experience with this unit? Other comments? Thankx!
